Our club boats are for use by club members. We now have seven working boats. The committee has recently decided to make them free for use by all competent members. If however you break things can you take personal responsibility to fix them, and if you have an accident you are liable for the 'excess' insurance amount!

You also need to fill out the book kept in the clubhouse if taking a boat. No signature - No boat

More information about the type of boats MKSC has:

MKSC The Wayfarer is a wooden or fibreglass hulled Bermuda rigged sailing dinghy. The boat is 15 foot 10 inches (4.82 m) long, and broad and deep enough for three adults to comfortably sail for several hours. Wayfarers' size and stability have made them popular with sailing schools.

MKSC The Laser Standard is one of the most popular single-handed dinghies in the world.A commonly cited reason for its popularity is that it is robust and simple to rig and sail, while the performance characteristics match those of more complex racing dinghies.
